We diversify our trips so that each of us is satisfied and can derive as much pleasure from our stay in the bosom of nature as possible. Because our off-road is not only about long kilometers spent behind the wheel, but above all, searching for adventures that teach, entertain, create a collection of amazing experiences and memories. May Day 2024 is a journey through Polish areas from the Tuchola Forest to the Baltic Sea, and the place that crowns the week-long adventure is the Siedlecka Desert. *** We were taken to Chociński Młyn, the starting point of the trip, by the owner of the equipment rental: kayaki.swornegacie.pl. On this section, flowing to Swornegacie, the Chocina meanders twice, and the numerous bends and turns give the impression of turning around. It is one of the most twisted rivers in Europe. The calm, clean and shallow water makes it an ideal river for beginner kayakers, as well as for family trips. With the right paddling technique, crossing the Chocina is pure pleasure. The weather is nice, the sun is shining, Szymon is taking a nap, Łukasz is calmly paddling, while I am struggling with the paddle on the sharp turns :-D. So, the picturesque trip ends after paddling over eight kilometers in the village of Kokoszka, where, after making a phone call, the very nice owner takes us. Of course, you can continue paddling all the way to Swornychgacie (almost right up to the rental shop), where the Chocina flows into Lake Karsińskie, but for me, as for the first time, a three-hour route is quite sufficient. From Swornychgacie we go to the vicinity of Bydgoszcz, where we stop for two nights on the Brda River. Milena and Łukasz are fulfilling their fishing passion, relaxing in the bosom of nature, and the weather is getting better and better. Unfortunately, this time we say goodbye to this charming place without a fish and we continue on our way. Where to?
