Across Poland in a 4x4 expedition camper Kopań Beach and a swim in the icy Baltic Sea

Kopań is a seaside village in the Darłowo commune, located partly on a moraine hill. From the hill, there is a picturesque panorama of the Baltic Sea on one side, and the lake of the same name, Lake Kopań, on the other. The sandy beaches undoubtedly have a unique atmosphere in this place. And although they are not very wide, even before the season started, there was enough space for everyone to maintain privacy without the need to use windbreaks. The heat pouring from the sky, the sand warming our feet and the pleasant, warm breeze tempted us to take a bath in the icy water. Surprisingly, after getting out of the water, we did not feel cold, we did not have to cover ourselves with a towel to warm up. The seaside sun showed off its show. After greeting the sea and briefly exploring the peaceful area, we decided that we would not sleep in the parking lot, primarily because there was no possibility of setting up a comfortable camp there. Instead, we moved to a nearby ala camping site. Although this accommodation base needs some time to develop as a campsite, it definitely deserves to be a place worth recommending. For a small fee for the night we received: 1. Quick access to the beach - it's just a few minutes of slow walking and here I would like to point out that you don't have to climb any cliffs, etc. The path is practically flat. 2. Proximity to the bike rental and the possibility of direct entry to the famous R10 bike route (the rental is about 200 meters away, a wide selection of equipment and very friendly owners). 3. Seasonal bar offering delicious dishes, ice cream and cold drinks (Bar Bistro pod Słońcem). 4. Free outdoor disco with DJ (great fun) 5. And above all, the vastness of the surrounding nature and lots, really lots of sun. Filled with seaside energy, we return to the south of Poland, heading for an adventure that will crown our May Day trip. And since we still don't have enough dunes, well, we are like us, because we probably waded enough in the sand with our feet, it's time for this time not us, but the toyka to experience the muddy terrain under the tread of its tires.
