Teacher Bakhiet's education at the level of formal education he only reached class IV of the State Primary School in 1976. The rest of the time he gained more knowledge in non-formal education, starting from education from both his parents, especially from his father who was a scholar. He had studied at Pondok Pesantren Ibnu Amin in 1977 for about three years. Further in 1980 he became a santri at Pondok Pesantren Darussalam for approximately six months. From there then moved to Darussalam for about a year and a half. After a long time in Martapura, then he returned to Barabai and studied with his own parents, namely his father. His father taught him the knowledge of nilmu, especially the inner knowledge, and studied with the scholars around him. In deepening religious knowledge, he took a lot from the leading scholars. His teachers, among others, were his own parents, Tuan Guru Haji Ahmad Mughni, from whom he gained a lot of knowledge, especially regarding inner knowledge (the science of Sufism). Jurisprudence specifically studied with Tuan Guru Haji Abdul Wahab (Kampung Qadli Barabai). The knowledge of the Arabic language, especially the knowledge of Nahwu, was acquired from Tuan Guru Haji Hasan and Tuan Guru Haji Saleh Barabai.
