In 2017, it will be exactly 25 years since the beginning of the Georgian-Abkhazian war of 1992-1993. For almost a quarter of a century, this conflict has been frozen. On one side, there are people who remained in the occupied, unrecognized territory. On the other, there are displaced persons who have been wandering around other people's homes for decades. Hromadske spent four days on the demarcation line between Abkhazia and the other part of Georgia to study for itself what is happening in the "frozen zone".
