Day 3: The journey home: Departure at 9 a.m. from Lake Biel to Büren over a historic wooden bridge. The 108 m long Aare crossing has connected the town with the district of Reiben since 1275. Solothurn, a proud city, has even more towers and gates from the past. We continue past the Aarbur fortress through the Jura Park Aargau to Albbrugg to a sandy beach, where we took our lunch break. From here we make quick progress until we get home. It was a total distance of around 911 km from Dornhan to Dornhan. Aare good, everything is fine!
