Aare Tour Switzerland 3 days from August 18th - 20th, 2023 The Aare Tour actually doesn't really start until tomorrow on day 2. High alpine landscape, romantic lakes and historic riverside towns. A trip along the Aare offers Swiss delicacies for every taste. We drive from Dornhan to RW ob Zimmern, where we take the motorway to Beuren an der Aach. From there we continue via Allensbach to Konstanz, where we also cross the border. We drive for a long time along Lake Constance via Holzenstein, Obersteinach and on to Dornbirn. From there we go to Vaduz, Maienfeld to the Mapragg reservoir and to the Giggerwaldsee to Sankt Martin. Sankt Martin in the Calfeisental is a small, rustic Walser village in the farthest corner of the canton of St. Gallen. Accessible via the Terminatal. Sankt Martin is at an altitude of 1335 m.
