It's finally gotten cooler, so I headed to the Rani Head Trail in Ontake, which I'd been interested in for a while. The start is quite steep, but it's not too tough as it climbs in a fairly large S-shape. The bush zones along the way are nicely maintained, making it a comfortable route. I'd like to thank the volunteers who maintained the route. It takes about two hours to get to Hinodeyama, and from there you can go to Tsurutsuru Onsen or go to Mt. Mitake, but it took exactly five hours to get off at Furusato Station via Mt. Otsukayama.
