To the SY ISLY website: https://www.sy-isly.com Today a very special type of ship is making its debut on our channel: a real motor sailor! When we were in Greece, visiting two catamarans with Beat, among others, we stopped by Conny and Martin's. The two of them invited us onto their sailing boat to get to know them and show us their very special ship in this video. It's not what we would personally prefer, but we still find the concept very interesting. It's a steel ship from the Feltz shipyard in very, very good condition, but with really special features... For example, it's a bilge keeler with an engine IN each keel. Everything is very solidly constructed and the ship gives us the impression that it's simply bored in the Mediterranean. You can certainly sail to colder and stormier regions of the world with it. It's certainly equipped for that. Who knows - maybe someone will do that with it, because Conny and Martin want to sell it; their own time out on a sailboat is coming to an end. If you're interested: all the necessary information is on their website. In any case, it was a very interesting day with the two of them and their SY ISLY. Happy New Year to you all! Let's hope for a more relaxed, more beautiful and more sailing-filled year in 2021! We'll be back soon with new episodes - we've got a few reports to do first! (Among other things, Beat's catamaran is next) Best wishes from Berlin, Dominik and Hendrik __ If you're also looking for your perfect sailboat and need support - be it finding the type, looking for a boat or viewings - we can help!
