Gangneung, Gangwon-do, resembling an overturned rice bowl, hence the name Babbong. Three years ago, backpacker Taeyoon Lee visited the land devastated by a forest fire. Instead of the old, beautiful trees, the mountain is covered with dead tree remains, with new green grass blocking the path. Taeyoon and his friend Seunghoon enjoy the hardships of climbing the mountain, which has turned into a wide meadow instead of a dense forest. They say that they gain the strength to live again by making eye contact with the green life on this still barren road. We follow the backpacking trip of two young people who say that wherever they walk, it is a runway or a stage. Rookie captain Jang Myeongjun struggles with octopuses every morning, facing the rising sun in the East Sea of Gangwon-do. It was two years ago, when Myeong-jun began his fateful relationship with octopuses while he was having a crazy staring contest with his computers. For him, who had been living an irregular life and going on business trips as an electrical control engineer, making money no longer had much meaning. Myeong-jun was distressed because his most dazzlingly bright youth seemed to be fading away. In the end, he bought a boat and jumped into the sea at dawn.
