In search of copper, silver and non-ferrous metals, I am dismantling a bunch of Soviet thermal releases or automatic machines for scrap metal. Let's see how much copper and silver can be extracted from a huge pile of old equipment. In addition to copper and silver, automatic machines also contain brass parts, the amount of brass is not inferior to copper, there may also be silver-plated plates from which silver can also be removed. Silver contacts are of two types: magnetic and non-magnetic, although non-magnetic contacts are not entirely made of silver, contacts where graphite powder is impregnated with molten silver are often found, such contacts are cheaper. In late Soviet machines, copper alloy contacts are often found instead of silver, I read that it is not worth extracting silver from them. Dismantling automatic machines for scrap metal and extracting non-ferrous metal from them is quite a difficult task, since many metals need to be separated, the easiest way to break a carbolite case is with a hammer, unscrewing it with a screwdriver is a very long task, dismantling such a quantity of equipment with a screwdriver is simply unrealistic. In addition to non-ferrous metal parts, it is also worth collecting ferrous metal, parts made of ordinary iron or steel, there are a lot of them and in total they give a good weight of scrap metal. Due to the fact that there was a lot of electrical equipment of late Soviet years of production, there was not as much silver as I initially expected, but there was still more technical silver than the minimum result. The catch of copper-copper and brass was also good, these metals were approximately equal. As a result of disassembling, a lot of garbage was also formed, two boxes of broken carbolite cases were collected. According to the overall result of disassembling electric machines, I will say that the result was quite good, mainly due to the amount of material for disassembling, there was something to disassemble. Therefore, the catch of copper, brass and silver impressed me, although of course I had to work, but now there is something to hand over for scrap metal and for what to get money. I hope the video about disassembling a large pile of Soviet electric machines for scrap metal and extracting silver and copper from them will be interesting and informative. I wish everyone a successful search, collection and cash delivery of scrap metal, especially non-ferrous metals and copper. Enjoy watching everyone! Thank you all for watching!
