When we usually compress the elements of life into three, we use the expressions 'clothing. food. shelter'. However, there is a country where the expression 'food. clothing. shelter' is more commonly used than 'clothing. food. shelter'. 'Continent of Taste', 'Gourmet Heaven', 'Everything with legs except for table legs is eaten' A country where food is prioritized over clothing or where to live. China is a food paradise that leads the world in cuisine with a variety of ingredients and cooking methods that go beyond imagination. Because the land is large and there are many people, the ingredients and tastes of food vary by region in China. Chinese food culture is not just about food itself, but also a mixture of the Chinese people's thoughts, morals, national psychology, lifestyle, beliefs, and etiquette. We will go to Yunnan in southwestern China, which is called the "minority paradise" where 26 of the 56 ethnic minorities in China live together. We will taste the various foods and cuisines developed by the various ethnic minorities within the vast territory and long history of 5,000 years, and we will also encounter another side of China through this culinary journey. "Shangri-La", which means "sun and moon in the heart" in Tibetan, was originally made widely known to the world by British novelist James Hilton. "Shangri-La", which appeared in the novel as a word that advocated "paradise on earth", became a place name in China in 2001. We will visit Shangri-La, a place with a beautiful utopia. We begin our journey to Shangri-La, but the Lancang River, the upper reaches of the Mekong River and the lifeline of Shangri-La, blocks our way. By chance, we meet the villagers of the Jang tribe and are able to cross the river using the so-called 'zipline' they use to cross the river... After crossing the river and following the Chamago Road, we come across the sacred mountain of the Jang tribe, 'Meili Xueshan (梅里雪山)'. We finally encounter Shangri-La, the land embraced by Meili Xueshan. Jidi Village, a small village in Shangri-La, is a village where the Jang tribe lives together. Once a year, the village becomes bustling with merchants. It's because of the pine mushrooms! Pine mushrooms, which have an exquisite fragrance, are one of the most precious mushrooms. Every July and August, wild pine mushrooms sprout up in abundance in the mountains around Shangri-La. The Jang tribe climbs the rugged mountain paths from the crack of dawn to get better wild pine mushrooms than others. We hear about their joys and sorrows related to pine mushrooms. ✔ Program name: World Theme Travel - Chinese Food Travel Yunnan Part 2 In Search of Shangri-La Wild Mushrooms ✔ Broadcast date: October 14, 2014 #GolaDunDocumentary #WorldThemeTravel #WildMushrooms #MushroomPickling #China #Yunnan #Shangri-La #Mushrooms #PreciousMushrooms #GD Village
