The best way to capture the soul of a mountain place is to visit a mountain hut. An oasis outside of our lifestyle, where the rhythms of the days are dictated by nature and animals. Up there, even today, mountain grazing, milking, and cheese production are traditions that have existed for centuries. When you manage to get in tune with the "malgari", to understand their hard work, their love for animals and for the land, you ask yourself questions that are difficult for me to answer.
