[Things to worry about when starting a garden! What to plant? Wildflower gardening in the open air/Recommended easy-to-grow plants] When I built my house, I did it on a small budget, so I did most of the things myself or put them off until later, and just made a living space and moved in. So I had little time to worry about the yard. The biggest headache in living in a country house is 'weeds'. I was tired of fighting the weeds growing wildly in my large yard, so I tried laying down a thermal blanket and covering it with gravel, which was good, but... I regret it so much. I thought that the thermal blanket made of various fabrics would be a little better because it wasn't vinyl, but I was very wrong. After 1~2 years, the strong weeds started growing again, and the gravel made it harder to mow the lawn because the stones were flying around. Even though I pulled out the grass diligently, after 2 years, the weeds started to grow through the thermal blanket and gravel, and the thermal blanket was moist, so it seemed to be an environment where grass seeds could grow well. Because of the insulating covers, gravel, and stones, planting a single tree was not an easy task, so we ended up removing all the rotting insulating covers and gravel underground and covering it with high-quality sand. Now I can freely plant trees and flowers and I am so happy. I wanted to recommend some plants that even beginners can grow after diligently tending them for 4 months, so I organized them. There were so many that I made the video in parts 1 and 2, so I hope it was even a little helpful :) ============================================================== Hello. This is Neulbom who always lives with a spring-like heart. My house is a country house that I designed and built myself, and I am having fun turning everyday life into art and trash into art with discarded items. I'm making videos on how to decorate my home with self-interior design and how to make and use necessary household items through upcycling, and I'm trying to practice zero waste to save the Earth. Please keep an eye on the changing appearance of my house, which is still evolving! If you have any questions, please leave a comment below and I'll answer them with all my heart.
