Even though Winfried, the drummer of the folksy Kärner Trio, is missing today, Karl and Waltraud Kärner manage to get the older generation in the mood with their optimistic and spirited music. During their last performance in a retirement home, a less than enthusiastic listener leaves the show to smoke a cigar. As he admires the Kärners' strikingly painted tour bus in the parking lot, a door is slammed into his head from the inside. A figure leaves the mobile home and disappears into the darkness. When the pensioner is discovered lying on the ground and the evidence - including in the car - is secured, the police initially believe that a burglar has been caught. But very soon they find cellophane packets of cocaine in a guitar case. Kärner indignantly rejects the accusation that he has anything to do with the 'devil's stuff'.
