Traveling to the Caucasus along the Baksan Gorge with Aussie Ollie. Hooray, back on the dog tour! We stayed in tents on the outskirts of the village of Terskol and for the first 3 days walked easy radial routes, and then climbed to an altitude of 3700 m on an autonomous hike. Impressive views along each route helped us forget about fatigue and move on. ????️Our route in Elbrus region: 0:00 Trekking to the Chyranbashi-su waterfall (Maiden's braids), 2800m 1:29 Trekking to the Terskol waterfall, 2800m 4:50 Trekking to the mountain lake Donguz-Orun-Kol, 2542m 8:16 Start of the 3-day hike: ascent to the Terskol peak Observatory, 3050m 13:02 We meet the dawn with a view of Elbrus and the main Caucasus ridge, 3050m 14:39 Radial exit to the Ice base, 3700m 18:40 Rainy morning, 3050m 19:24 Descent to the village of Terskol, 2100m Thanks to the dog tour operator Adventure Dog August 5-12, 2023
