Lake Takataki lies almost in the center of the Boso Peninsula. We take on black bass in this man-made, lush, green lake that boasts the largest surface area in Chiba Prefecture. We make our way into the river that flows into the lake and carefully search for cover with a top lure. Matsumoto Mitsuhiro is using lures that he created himself to appeal to the water surface. He was born in Osaka Prefecture in 1977. In 2004, he launched a top water brand for bass. Fascinated by the explosive bites that come from top lures... this original lure builder takes on the scorching hot top water game.
