The road of the 52 tunnels is a military mule track built during the First World War on the Pasubio massif. The road winds between Bocchetta Campiglia (1,216 m)[1] and the gates of Pasubio (1,934 m)[2] crossing the southern side of the mountain, not reachable by Austro-Hungarian artillery fire, characterised by pinnacles, deep gorges and perpendicular rock faces. Cima Palon (2,232 m) is the highest peak of the Pasubio massif, in the Vicenza Prealps. The Italian tooth was so called during the First World War, as it represented the front line in the highest part of the massif; while on the Austro-Hungarian side there was the Austrian tooth. / strava https://www.komoot.com/it-it/tour/128... #mountain #pasubio #cannondale #cannondalehabit #dolomites #veneto #garmin #insta360 #insta360go2 #war #galleries #trentino
