Deities evoked from places as far away as India and Brazil manifest themselves in the bamboo grove of the Rio de Janeiro Botanical Garden. Like a vegetal cathedral, the clearing of leaves receives only two benches made by Anapuatã Mehinako. Sitting there, Ailton and Satish talk about life and its transmutation. The network here is invisible, an underground rhizome and a spiritual web through which the forces of renewing destruction and radical love travel. Who is Shiva? Who is the hummingbird? In the fifth episode of the series “Conversa na Rede”, Ailton Krenak and Satish Kumar meet in the bamboo grove of the Rio de Janeiro Botanical Garden. The conversation features musical participation by Amora Pêra and illustrations by Aza made live during the conversation between Ailton and Satish.
