Hello! :) In this video we take a look at 5 scales to start getting into the world of improvisation. This video focuses mainly on improvisation in minor keys, however the concepts apply to major keys as well. The main difference is that in major keys we are going to focus on the tonic of the corresponding key. For that we can use the second position of the minor pentatonic, which corresponds to the first position of the relative major. For example, if we want to play in C major, we use the second position of the A minor pentatonic.
