The business model of WePayPeople is to put other people's employees on their payroll. How can this be such a lucrative business? We ask that question to founder Julius Kousbroek ⇨ Subscribe now to the 7DTV channel for more videos: https://bit.ly/2Je2J5D 'Our added value is in paying wages, being compliant and making contracts. We are also very fast in onboarding and paying people. We have about 10,000 people on our list. I classify this large group of people under the pyramid of salary. At the bottom there is a lot for little and at the top there is little for a lot.' 'It is ridiculous what is happening in the Netherlands at the moment. I have no problem with the way people work together and I understand very well that people, because of all kinds of rules, choose to exist as a self-employed person. I wish that for everyone. But that does not mean that there should be such a large difference in net income compared to an employee. The measures that have now been taken by the government are not enough.' About Julius Kousbroek During his studies at the UvA, Julius Kousbroek started a driver company in 1999 before he founded Payroll Works, the current WePayPeople, in 2007. Julius' personal goal is to make the payrolling product better known among Dutch companies and to contribute to the social debate on changing employment relationships in which flexibility plays an increasingly important role. From 2012 to 2018 he was a member of the executive board of Jong Management, where he acted as chairman from 2015 to 2018 and was a member of the executive board of VNO-NCW.
