#KoreanWar #625War #ArrowHeadHill [DMZ's Yesterday and Today 2-part series Demilitarized Zone - Part 1 At the Hill] In 2019, the excavation of remains of soldiers killed in the DMZ began for the first time since the armistice at Arrowhead Hill. Although the originally planned joint excavation between the South and the North did not take place, we achieved meaningful results by finding an estimated 261 remains last year alone through our independent excavation. I visited the Arrowhead Hill excavation site in person in 2019. In addition to revealing the scene of the delicate work being done, I also heard the stories of the soldiers who participated in the excavation. I organized the main processes and issues of the two-year armistice agreement that created the current DMZ, and examined why the armistice agreement, which was intended to end the war, actually brought about bloody hill battles that resulted in numerous casualties. ✔KBS Documentary KBS Official YouTube Channel [KBS Documentary] 🔔Subscribe👍Like➡️ / @kbsdocumentary 📝Contact: [email protected] Copyright ⓒ KBS.
