Peter explained his action, recounting the vision he had of a sheet full of unclean animals and the direct guidance of the Holy Spirit to go to the house of Cornelius, a God-fearing gentile. During his preaching, the Holy Spirit fell on the Gentiles, just as it had happened to Peter and the apostles at Pentecost. Peter then ordered them to be baptized in the name of Jesus. The apostles and elders in Jerusalem, after hearing Peter's exposition, understood that God's will was for the Gentiles to also be included in the church and they glorified God for this. They concluded that Gentiles who believed should be baptized and integrated into the same church as Jewish converts. This video is from a series of expositions on the book of Acts.
