2021 Haeinsa Dawn Service New Version (Doryangseok, Jongsong, Beomjong, Beopgo, Unpan, Mok-eo, Moktak, Yebulmun, Isan Hyeyeon Seonsa Balwonmun, Banyasimgyeong) Dawn service is a ritual to worship Buddha in the morning, and it means the official start of practice. Dawn service starts with Doryangseok. While circling Doryangseok, the congregation wakes up, washes, enters the main hall, bows three times to the Buddha, and sits quietly. After Doryangseok, the bell chant begins in a low tone, and then things start to ring out in a dharma tone. Usually, drums are struck, the main bell is struck 28 times, and mok-eo and unpan are struck. Then, a solemn service is held in accordance with the Yebulmun, taking refuge in the Triple Jewel. It is a chorus of Jisimgwimyeongrye, which means taking refuge in Buddhism with utmost sincerity, taking refuge in all Buddhas, Bodhisattvas, and Seonjisik. The morning service ends with the reading of the original text of the Buddhist scriptures by Seonsa Isan Hyewon, the recitation of the Heart Sutra, and three bows. #HaeinsaSaYeBul #DawnYeBul #HaeinsaMorningYeBul ●Subscribe to BTN Buddhist TV YouTube https://bit.ly/3k5nt10 (Click the link and subscribe!) ●Join BTN Buddha Society 1855-0108 (Regular Donation) Regular donations from Buddhists are a great help in spreading the Buddha's teachings.
