A group of about 150 motorcyclists arrived on Thursday night at the gas station located on 18 de Julio between Rivera and Arenal Grande, in the Cordón neighborhood of Montevideo, where they stole fuel for an amount close to seven thousand pesos. In several videos that circulated on social networks, these people can be seen with their vehicles occupying the entire width of 18 de Julio in that area. They then used the space to perform stunts and dangerous maneuvers. And then a group surrounded the security guard at the gas station and began to steal fuel. According to Telenoche, the official managed to cut off the UTE service, thereby managing to stop the pumps from working. Afterwards, the motorcyclists left the place. The motorcycles had their license plates covered and the drivers wore helmets. Neighbors from other neighborhoods in the city reported that this group had been blocking streets and performing dangerous maneuvers.
