The gatherings of young people in the past and likely to continue are not only about political change, but also about all aspects of society. However, this is not the first time that a gathering of this nature has happened. Going back to the beginning of the reign of King Rama VI, when Siam was still ruled under the #absolutemonarchy, there was the R.S. 130 Group, or as we know it, the R.S. 130 Rebellion, which was started by a group of young soldiers and civilians who planned a change in the government. 80 percent of these people were only 20-25 years old. Listen to the program "Inscriptions... Records of Siam" with Kasidit Anantanathorn and Emeritus Professor Dr. Thaemsook Numnon, historians and heirs of Lieutenant That Rattanaphan, one of the R.S. 130 group, talk about the causes, background, and lessons learned from the events that happened in R.S. 130. (This episode Recorded on January 26, 2022, before Professor Emeritus Dr. Thaemsook Numnon passed away due to health problems on February 1, 2022.
