The electric bus in Florianópolis! It's an incredible project that is changing the way people get around the city. The first electric bus started operating in March, thanks to a partnership between UFSC and the city government ¹. This vehicle has the capacity to transport 76 passengers and can travel 300 kilometers on a single battery charge ². In addition, passengers have access to USB sockets in all seats, making the trip even more comfortable [4). Technical Specifications: Capacity: 76 passengers Range: 300 kilometers Manufacturer: TEVX Higer Model: Azure A12 BR ³ And best of all? This bus is 100% electric, which means it does not emit pollutants and helps reduce the city's ecological footprint ⁴. It is an important step towards more sustainable and efficient transportation. The federal government is also investing heavily in this project, with a package of R$ 228 million for the acquisition of electric buses in cities in Santa Catarina ⁵.
