Pio's World - Provence - Côte d'Azur - Camargue - Documentary 2020 We set off somewhat aimlessly towards the South of France. A few days earlier we actually wanted to travel to Brittany, but the weather forecast had advised us against it. So we set off further south. Via Dijon we first drove to Lyon, our gateway to the South of France. There we tried out our inflatable kayaks from Itiwit, which we had bought from Decathlon shortly before the trip. Travelling with a dog is often not easy anyway, but canoeing or kayaking as an inexperienced captain is even more so. But in the end it worked out quite well. We then continued on to the Ardeche, which we also paddled on, but we also fought our way along the panoramic road in our old Fiat Ducato. Countless curves, climbs and descents led us through Provence, via Gordes, Roussilon, the lake “Lac de Sainte Croix” up the Verdon, through the Verdon Gorge and over the foothills of the Alps down to the Mediterranean to Saint Tropez. From there we drove along the coast, past Marseille, to the Carmague to Le Grau du Roi. The wide beaches there were great, the weather sensational. We then went through the Cevennes and through the Tarn Gorge back north. We visited the Sainte Eulalie de Cernon, Château de Peyrelade and Castelbouc and crossed the large bridge of Millau (Viaduc de Millau). A great, long journey on which we covered over 3000 km. The French motorway toll was not as high as expected, however. Of course, there were small complications with our oldie again. Enjoy watching. --- We are always looking for new adventures. We let you share in this in Pio's world. We cleverly use our annual vacation days to spend as much time as possible in nature and discover new regions, areas and countries. In our constellation, this is not always easy, but it is very exciting. These are self-created travel reports. All images and videos are self-created.
