Interview with María Xesús Froxán Parga (2021). In 2021 I had the opportunity to interview María Xesús Froxán Parga in what for me was literally a master class on Clinical Psychology and behavior analysis. In this meeting I was able to get closer to better understanding the history of psychology, psychotherapy and the entire path that brought us to how we think about treatments today. I wanted to share this interview in the podcast space because it seems to me to be a gem of a psychology talk with a lot of knowledge behind it. In the interview I ask her, among other topics, about how the conceptions of behavior analysis and cognitive therapy differ within clinical psychology, how exposure works and its difference with the so-called 'violation of expectations', how vicarious learning works, what type of process-based research she develops with her research group, among many other things, related to the relationships with evidence-based psychotherapy and some historical aspects of psychotherapy. I thank María Xesús for agreeing to talk to me and taking the time to explain so many concepts and ideas.
