/ strava copy-paste from strava. I'll start with the fact that Foliforov is not a person. And it all started so-so. During the warm-up it was a nightmare, pulse 150 with a power of 200. Nerves? I don't think so, probably tired of riding. 3 hours one way. And that's without traffic jams. We started as a crowd of thousands. It's good that: a). I was in the front row, b). there is a wide road at the start about a couple of kilometers. In fact, all the strong ones were ahead of me, so I rode 4-7 wheels calmly, believing that they would not act up in the first kilometers (fall, accelerate, etc.). And that's what happened. In this race I did everything the other way around. Everything. where I had to calmly ride first - I sat on the wheel (where there are potholes, holes, ruts), partially compensated for this with my height - I saw a lot over those in front, and where I had to sit, so to speak, in a pack (on the asphalt) I went first, so what? a lot of strength, nowhere to put ... in general, we rode the first lap calmly, there were five of us left: Foliforov, Troshin, Vas'kov, and, it seems, Karpov. while I was changing the bottle - the guys drove away for about 10 seconds - I closed it not without difficulty, to be honest. I just managed to eat the gel and then went single. Anton and Andrey Troshin rode a little ahead, I from the fifth wheel along the firebreak somehow got around the guys and rode after them. The three of us rode to the asphalt evenly, but cheerfully, no one was visible behind, on the asphalt I (an idiot!) again rode first, but without enthusiasm, just rolled. and after the exit to the dirty ground Anton attacked. Trying not to let go, I made a mistake in the mud, almost fell, got off the bike. I hope I didn't interfere with Andrey. Anton went about 100 meters during this time. made it. but during this time, as it turned out, Andrey let go. so we rode to the finish in pairs, at the finish I went VERY early. super early. Anton sat it out (well, yes, I'm a normal sailor) and before the last turn went ahead. there was no chance to overtake. strength too. on the one hand, it's not a shame to lose to such an opponent, but on the other - it's very offensive. I will try to draw conclusions. but I repeat, Anton is not a person :)
