A discussion on the palette with the Member of the European Parliament for Smer-SSD Ľuboš Blah. In the beginning, he discussed the court decision regarding Denník N and commentator Danny K. The newspaper was banned by a preliminary injunction from calling the commentator a neo-Nazi, anti-Semite and extremist until the final conclusion of the trial. According to Blah, this gave the newspaper N “a slap in the face”. In connection with this, he mentioned his case when the court banned him from saying that the then president Zuzana Čaputová was an American agent, but at the same time did not prohibit him from calling her a fascist. From this, it logically follows for him that according to the courts, it is more possible to call ex-president Čaputová rather than Danny K. “They give him and us in Smer all kinds of unflattering labels in Denník N and they think they can label everyone like that. However, the court verdict showed them that they cannot destroy the lives of people with a different opinion like that. That is why it is a great victory,” he said. However, he pointed out that the management of Denník N, as well as other representatives of the so-called liberal café, declared that they would not respect this verdict. According to him, it is an attack on the rule of law and a typical approach of liberals. He compared it to the period of Nazism in Germany. The conversation continued with the topic of the recent conviction of former President Andrej Kiska. “A good angel turned out to be a tax fraudster,” the moderator ironically said, adding that Kiska decided to sue the presidential office for an annuity that no longer belongs to him after the court decision. Blaha responded that Kiska contributed to Slovak history only by “excessive sweating” and “he should walk in the sewers”, let alone making a hero out of himself by demanding benefits to which he has already lost his right. The MEP described it as absolutely immoral. He also commented on Igor Matovič’s latest excesses on the floor of the National Assembly of the Slovak Republic, after which the chairman of the meeting, Tibor Gašpar, expelled him from the meeting hall. He said that it is necessary to toughen up, because Matovič is not only cursing politicians from Smer and the government coalition, but especially grossly insulting their voters. He added that he is responsible for the deaths of over 20,000 people during the pandemic and that his person should be dealt with by law enforcement agencies. He also mentioned the case when another MP from Matovič's movement, Jozef Pročko, physically attacked his colleague in the presence of her children. He also returned to his recent trip to Russia, which caused a storm of resentment among neoliberals in Slovakia. Blaha emphasized that he was first and foremost to thank for our liberation in World War II. He is glad that Prime Minister Robert Fico will also go to Moscow next year to celebrate the victory over fascism. "We have to talk to the Russians. How do we want to establish peace in Ukraine if we don't talk to them?" he asked a rhetorical question. In his opinion, the war was caused by the West and NATO, which were expanding towards the Russian borders. The moderator quoted a recent statement by Russian political scientist Sergei Karaganov, who wrote, among other things, that Europeans have lost their fear of nuclear war and God, and that it is necessary to eliminate the threat that Europe poses as a source of tension and aggressive ideologies, which have already caused many tragedies in history. Blaha confirmed that European elites have committed a lot of evil. First they did it under the banner of Christianity, then under the idea of ​​imperialism, and now in the name of the ideology of human rights. As he added, the EU and the entire West must end the colonialist approach and stop falsely moralizing and lecturing other states of the world, because "it is not the navel of the world". On the other hand, he pointed out that liberals realize that they are losing - also on the issue of the war in Ukraine. He illustrated this with a recent article in the neoliberal magazine The Economist about Ukraine having to come to terms with losing its territories, which are currently controlled by the Russians, in the name of achieving peace. He also addressed the issue of the current military coup in Syria, when jihadists, with the assistance of the US, overthrew the regime of the secular leader of the state, Bashar Assad. According to him, "half-crazy" Islamist terrorists have gained power in the country, which will lead to further violence against the population. He pointed out that the global mainstream euphemistically calls them "insurgents", although they are still on the US list of terrorists. According to Blah, developments in Syria will lead to new waves of migration. He also said that parts of the world that are among Russia's spheres of influence, including Syria, are now being deliberately destabilized by the West. He also spoke about his work in the European Parliament. Among other things, he stated that a certain German MP, in response to Blah's speech, declared that Slovakia was liberated from Hitler in World War II by the USA. He pointed out that these people do not know history, promote only liberal ideology, do not respect other opinions and it is difficult to discuss with them. He believes that Europe is increasingly moving away from the original idea of ​​a Europe of nations. In connection with the supply of weapons and financial support for the war in Ukraine, to which Brussels has already contributed 200 billion euros, he noted that the EU is turning into a "war union".
