Welcome to Rio de Janeiro! Cinelândia, as the area around Praça Floriano is called, was once the place for entertainment, with bars, nightclubs, theaters, cinemas and restaurants. Nowadays the downtown entertainment region is in Lapa, but Cinelândia continues with all its charm and beauty. The Escadaria Selaron is the most famous gateway to the Santa Teresa neighborhood. Decorated by the Chinelo artist Jorge Selarón, who declared his work a tribute to the Brazilian people. And finally, a section of the Santa Teresa neighborhood, which divides the city center from the south zone. A residential neighborhood close to everything, with mansions, museums and a beautiful yellow cable car. The view from the neighborhood is one of the best, and you can see several neighborhoods around it.
