Hello everyone, I'm glad you tuned in to one of my videos. In this video I take you to the Zugspitze and I can definitely tell you that it is a very worthwhile trip when the visibility is clear and the weather is good. The ticket for the Zugspitze costs 72 euros and you can choose whether you want to take the cogwheel train or the cable car or alternate between both. The rides on both are included. The parking lot has to be paid for separately and I recommend that you park your car in the Eibsee parking lot if you take the cable car up. From there it only takes 2-3 minutes to get to the cable car and the parking lot is much cheaper than the parking lot at the Zugspitze valley station. The Eibsee parking lot costs 8 euros per day and the Zugspitz parking lot costs 18 euros. That is definitely a huge difference. If you take the cogwheel train up, you can sometimes even park for free near the Zugspitze station.
