ZLOKUČE VILLAGE ABANDONED One resident of the village near BUGOJNO The village of Zlokuće belongs to the municipality of Bugojno Bosnia and Herzegovina. It is about 12 kilometers from the city center. Today this village is abandoned, i.e. there is only one resident of the village who stays there throughout the year. Other residents visit the village during the season or sometimes for the weekend, but do not stay to live in the village. Many went outside BiH or to nearby villages and towns. The village is of mountain type and is located at about 970 meters above sea level. What I noticed is that almost every house has a well-built barn. People were mostly engaged in animal husbandry, and today you can see a lot of fruit trees, dominated by apples. The village of Zlokuće has about 30 buildings, including houses and stables. Passing through this village, you can also see old houses that are still in good condition. From the 2013 census. there were 15 people in the village, and in 1991 there were 109 people, while in 1981 there were 118 inhabitants of this beautiful village. Near the village there is also the mountain Rudina at 1388 meters above sea level and Humska Gradina at 1446 meters above sea level. There are also other villages of Hum, the village of Stolac, Hapstući, Vileši, Glavice and many others that are abandoned today. The village is surrounded by the natural beauties of Bugojno and Bosnia and Herzegovina. Walking and cycling through these natural beauties and the village of Zlokuće was interesting.
