AVIONEWS met Nabore Benini vice president of Curti S. p. A. and Chiara Albertazzi, helicopter project manager of the same company. A new helicopter with a name that evokes the west wind was presented by the company Curti S. p. A. that after a decade of experience in the supply of flight parts wanted to create its own creature. Zefhir is the only helicopter in the world equipped with a ballistic parachute that offers greater guarantee in the event of exceptional emergency landings and therefore competitively oriented towards safety, it is a two-seater with a powerful turbine engine at low costs, having cutting-edge materials, 3000 hours Tbo, autonomy of about 320 km, large trunk that can be used for auxiliary tanks if necessary. The company, which will launch the machine on the market at the beginning of 2020, will also offer the advantageous supply of components for life thanks to the composite structure.
