Yuri Vasiliev is a People's Artist of the Russian Federation, a famous actor who starred in the films "Journalist", "The Bat" and "Moscow Does Not Believe in Tears", which are significant for the history of Soviet cinema. The future screen star and favorite of Russian women was born in Moscow a couple of years before the start of the Great Patriotic War. Although Yuri was very young and did not even remember the horror of those terrible years, the war still affected the character and worldview of the actor.
