Yugoslavia in the war 1941-1945. The documentary series about war and political events in Yugoslavia during World War II is one of the most comprehensive and detailed documentary series about this period of history in Yugoslavia. A large number of historians from the country and abroad participated in it, as well as direct participants of the event, both from the winning and losing sides. The series was filmed in Great Britain, Germany and Yugoslavia. The main questions that are raised are: Why until recently 7. celebrated July as the beginning of the anti-October uprising? What were the first major combat actions against the occupiers in Serbia and who started them? What was the role of General Milan Nedić in putting down the uprising? What was Chetnik-Partisan military cooperation like? How did Draža Mihajlović get rid of his main rivals for leadership in the Chetnik movement - General Novaković and Kosta Pećanac? Was Chetnik-partisan cooperation based on an anti-occupation basis or was it cooperation for tactical reasons where each movement had its own goals? Participating: historians-prof. Dr. Branko Petranović, Venceslav Glišić, Holm Sundhausen and Karl Heinc Šlarp (Germany), Radmila Radić, professor Svetozar Stojanović and witnesses - Miodrag Kolarević, captain of the Chetnik unit, Milosav Bojović from the Posavina partisan detachment and several fighters from Draža Mihajlović's units.
