Living in Japan, I feel that there are so many unique small and medium-sized cities. Today, I visited Utsunomiya (宇都宮), the best gyoza town in Japan, where the entire city is branded with gyoza. Utsunomiya is close enough to Shinjuku or Shibuya to make a day trip by regular train, but it is not yet a famous place for travelers.
