Start the new year with a healthy twist and conjure up the ultimate fitness bread recipe from the Thermomix®! 🌟This juicy bread with carrots is the perfect power alternative. Quick, easy and incredibly delicious! 💪🍞 🥣 Ingredients for 1 loaf 300 g spelt grains 150 g wheat grains 150 g rye grains 200 g carrots, in large pieces 500 g buttermilk 1 cube of yeast 2 tsp salt 30 g balsamic vinegar 50 g water 100 g sunflower seeds 50 g flaxseed, ground optionally oat flakes or sunflower seeds for sprinkling TOOLS Loaf pan 1️⃣ Grease a loaf pan and preheat the oven to 220 °C top/bottom heat. 2️⃣ Put the spelt grains in the mixing bowl and mix for 1 min. Grind on level 10, then transfer. 3️⃣ Put the wheat and rye grains in the mixing bowl and grind for 1 min. level 10, then transfer. 4️⃣ Put the carrots in the mixing bowl and chop for 4 sec. level 5, pushing down with the spatula. 5️⃣ Add the buttermilk and yeast and mix for 2 min. 37 °C level 2. 6️⃣ Add the remaining ingredients and knead for 4 min. dough mode. Use the spatula if necessary. 7️⃣ Put the dough in the loaf tin, distribute evenly, brush with a little water, and possibly sprinkle a handful of oat flakes or sunflower seeds on top. 8️⃣ First bake the bread for 30 minutes at 220 °C top/bottom heat, then reduce the temperature to 180 °C top/bottom heat and bake the bread for a further 20-30 minutes. Every oven is different, the bread is ready when you tap it from below and it sounds hollow. You can also finish baking it for a few minutes without a tin. 9️⃣ Take the bread out of the oven and let it cool completely on a rack before cutting it.
