Because Dési tells you the best tips and tricks on how you can easily prepare baking recipes that aren't written for the Thermomix® using your magic pot. 🤩 🙌🏼 What is your favorite recipe from grandma? 😇 🥣 Ingredients for grandma's moist marble cake 320 g flour type 405 2 tsp baking powder 250 g soft butter 160 g buttermilk 200 g sugar 90 g dark chocolate 1/2 tsp salt Seeds of half a vanilla pod 4 large eggs 1️⃣ Put the butter in pieces in the mixing bowl and beat for 1 min. speed 5. Add the sugar, vanilla seeds and salt and mix for 45 sec. Mix on level 5, gradually adding 2 eggs through the lid opening. Push down with the spatula and mix for a further 45 seconds level 5, adding the other two eggs. 2️⃣ Add the flour, baking powder and buttermilk, mix for 20 seconds level 5. If necessary, push down with the spatula and mix for 10 seconds level 5, then put the dough in a bowl. 3️⃣ Put the chocolate in pieces into the mixing bowl and chop for 10 seconds level 10. Then melt for 1 min. 30 seconds 40 °C level 1. Add half of the dough. Mix for 10 seconds level 4, then push together with the spatula and mix for a further 5 seconds level 4. 4️⃣ Preheat the oven to 180 °C top/bottom heat. Grease a loaf pan (25 or 30 cm) or a Bundt pan. First put the light and then the dark dough into the pan. Marble the dough with the help of a fork. 5️⃣ Bake the cake for about 60 minutes. Allow to cool and dust with powdered sugar before serving. 🌟 Dési's tip: Since every oven is different, please adjust the baking time individually if necessary. A toothpick test shows whether the cake is done or whether it should stay in the oven a little longer.
