Hello everyone, today I am happy to present you a new video on flax! And not just any video since we find ourselves at Guillaume Letur's company, TEILLAGE DE BRETAGNE. 4 years ago, he sowed 8Ha of flax, to today harvest around 1250 hectares! You heard of course 1250 hectares of flax in Brittany, a great comeback since it has been several decades since Brittany stopped producing and harvesting flax. Today I am going to meet Guillaume, discover his company, flax and all his machines, because there are some! We will try to attack in order, with the maintenance of the machines in the morning, to make a small detour to see his Fendt 726 black Gen7 stubble cultivating using a Lemken Karat cultivator. We will be able to quickly see in a neighboring field a stone collection site. So we set off for the first flax project, turning. With a Union machine, Guillaume will explain to me how it works and what the point of doing this operation on flax is. We continue with an equally important project, lifting, with a Van Iseghem Construis machine, which simply consists of lifting the flax sheet off the ground. And we will end the day with the most impressive in terms of the number of machines, winding! Machines pulled behind tractors, Fendt and Massey, but also self-propelled machines, notably the Dehondt brand! On this same project, we will be able to see the return of the Fendt 726 Black Gen7, since it has been hitched to a Chevance flatbed, to bring in the different bales of the day, loaded by a JCB telescopic handler.
