Boards as mulch in a vegetable garden? Does it make sense? In my opinion, boards are brilliant mulch, I regret that I did not think of such a use earlier. Thanks to using boards, I save a lot of time, and some crops that did not work for me are now successful. Mulching crops is nothing more than imitating nature. In natural conditions, bare, exposed soil occurs rarely, temporarily. Trees do not shed leaves for people to rake them. Dead leaves are an important element of the plant's life cycle. They ensure soil fertility, maintain moisture, are a habitat for an unimaginable number of creatures that trees cooperate with. Bacteria, fungi, insects.
