About :

A film that describes why and how to clear young forest. In the film, we get to follow the instructors Mathilda and Jannicke who demonstrate planning, equipment, technology and follow-up of the clearing. It also shows how clearing in pine forest, mixed forest and steep terrain is done. Many forest owners clear themselves, but if there is no time, it is often profitable to hire out the work, to avoid the costly cleanup of uncultivated thinning forest. The film was produced for Skogskunskap in collaboration with Skogforsk, Säker Skog, Skogkurs, Skogsstyrelsen and Skötselskolan.
