You Are Brighter Than the Sun, More Beautiful Than the Moon! - The Future of Hz. Muhammad Was Given Good News Living in the city of Fedan in Babylon, Hz. Jacob had been shepherding the flock of his uncle (Laban), who was the governor of that city, for a long time. The idolatrous people of Fedan made offerings to Ishtar, the mother goddess of Babylon, for rain, and attributed the lack of rain in the city to the gods' displeasure with what Jacob had done.
