Hello, I noticed that there is a stock shortage in one of our two-slatted bees. First of all, let me state this. I would say, do not bother with weak bees, merge them. Most of the hives that are said to give a chance cannot survive the winter. The weak hive in the video will not cause a problem as long as it does not starve in Izmir conditions. Because it has young worker bees. We have already solved the stock problem. However, the same population cannot survive the winter in high altitudes where continental climates are experienced. In fact, I merge hives with this strength. The queen bee of this hive is a young queen that laid eggs at the end of July, so I did not merge this hive. I do not recommend this application to new beekeeper friends who do not have enough experience and cannot make the appropriate calculations. Merging is a more guaranteed solution. There are brood in all hives due to the hot weather. While there are only open brood in the hive in the video, there are also closed brood in most of the other hives. As long as there is sufficient stock and sufficient population, hives will not experience any problems due to brood. Details are in the video. Enjoy.
