WHAT OUR LIFE IS LIKE LIVING IN A KOMBI AND TRAVELING ON THE ROADS OF RIO GRANDE DO SUL! In this video we will show our routine living in a Kombi and hitting the road to travel through the state of Rio Grande do Sul. We made our first cake on the trip, we used the oven on our motorhome stove, living in a small car requires a lot of care and calm for life's routines, we managed to cook normally and live in our small mobile home. After the meal we hit the road, leaving the city of São Francisco de Paula/RS towards the city of Caxias do Sul/RS, we will pass through the beautiful cities in the Serra Gaúcha, getting to know the cities of Canela/RS and its Parish of Our Lady of Lourdes (Catedral of Canela), in the city of Gramado/RS with all the tourist options we stopped at Lago Negro which access is free and is open 24 hours to the public, we walked around the lake and met a family of travelers (Luana, Valdir and Wagner) who were touring Rio Grande do Sul with their Kombi Senna a beautiful little yellow one like Mel, we left the city of Gramado heading to the city of Nova Petrópolis/RS to look for a safe place to spend the night parked, we managed to find a square where it was allowed to spend the night, we also met the couple Leoni and Rafael who are residents of the city. After the peaceful night we spent, we went to see the beautiful city of Nova Petrópolis/RS with all its landscape and German culture, all the half-timbered buildings, we saw the beautiful Praça das Flores and showed all the details of the city to our friends so they could get to know this route in the Serra Gaúcha. We took the RS-116 highway to the city of Caxias do Sul/RS. We passed through several parts where the road had landslides and half a lane, sections that are being recovered due to the flood that affected the state of Rio Grande do Sul in May/2024. The marks near the Caí River from the flood are still very strong. We had to take a detour from the road because the bridge fell due to the flood. The Cooperation Bridge was built to connect the road between the two cities. It was an exciting situation because despite all the tragedy that occurred in the state, the people of Rio Grande do Sul are getting back on their feet and fighting to normalize their lives. All the friends we met welcomed us with great affection and joy, which made us even more moved by the politeness of all the friends from Rio Grande do Sul. After traveling along this road, we managed to reach the city of Caxias do Sul/RS, where we will spend the night. We are going to live and travel in the Kombi for a long time, taking a great trip! Our dream is coming true and now we will be able to enjoy the Kombi on the roads, getting to know new places, making new friends and getting to know new cultures!
