PhD (academic). Literary critic, Kyoto University Graduate School Associate Professor, editorial committee member of "Hyogensha Criterion". His books include "Tsuneari Fukuda: The Form of Thought - Irony, Play, and Words" (Shinyosha), "Anti-War Postwar Theory" (Bungeishunju), "Mishima Yukio: Why Did He Have to Die?" (NHK Publishing). "Kobayashi Hideo's Theory of Life" (NHK Shinsho, Yamamoto Shichihei Prize Encouragement Award). He has co-authored books such as After Modernity: Thought and Criticism of Modern Japan (Hokuju Publishing), Nishibe Susumu's Final Thoughts: "Who are the Japanese, anyway?" (Asuka Shinsha), and Humans Will Die Under AI Control: Get Out of the System and Think with Your Own Body (Businesssha). He has also edited the Fukuda Tsuneari Anthology Trilogy: What is Conservatism?, What is the Nation?, and What is Humanity? (both published by Bungeishunju Gakugei Library). His most recent book is The Vague Anxiety of Modern Japan: The Real Reason for the Greater East Asia War (Businesssha). I hope you enjoy it.
