About :

Farmer Armin Nürnberger describes himself as a "cow person" and his stable with 600 cows as an "animal welfare stable", but critics speak of factory farming. Nürnberger's parents used to have five cows in tethered housing, today he has a free-stall barn with 600 Holstein cows, feeding robots, robots for mucking out and adding bedding and a modern hoof care stand. Technology is important to him, but he needs committed employees for animal protection, animal welfare and wellness in the stable. The high-performance cows are milked in the milking parlor: average milk yield per day: 38 liters. Nevertheless, there are hardly any cases of mastitis that have to be treated with antibiotics. In summer the cattle are fed green fodder and the young cattle are allowed to go out to pasture.
