Readers love anticipation and waiting. Or what in certain genres is called suspense. That's what drives a reader to read a story to the end. Knowing if the couple in love will finally be together, if the murderer is discovered, or if the treasure is found. Anticipating the big final revelation is what entertains the reader and spurs them to turn the pages. Because once the mystery is discovered or the murderer is caught, the conflict is resolved and the story is over. The end. So your goal as a writer is to allow the reader to revel in anticipation, to be expectant, to keep wondering what will happen next. And that's achieved with tension, which we talk about in this video. ----- ✉️ Subscribe to our newsletter so you don't miss our articles: https://www.sinjania.com/suscripcion-... ????
