We really like the cute little hippie town. Palomino has become a hotspot for backpackers in recent years, but despite the growing tourism, the charm of the place remains largely intact. We hope that it will stay that way for a long time to come. Palomino is located in the La Guajira region at the foot of the Sierra Nevada de Santa Marta, the highest coastal mountain range in the world. Due to its geographical location, you will find tropical beaches and dense jungle in the immediate vicinity. The place is also known for its tubing adventures on the Palomino River. Here you can float through nature with a swimming ring and listen to the sounds of the jungle. On Palomino beach you can surf and relax and watch the most beautiful sunsets.
