Have you ever wondered how your last Amazon order got to you so quickly? Whether it's a smartphone, sneakers or just a pack of toilet paper - nowadays you can order pretty much anything online. And in many cases the package you want arrives at home the very next day. #Amazon, the world's largest online mail order company, is known for fast delivery times. Robin, who orders a lot online himself, has often asked himself: How does it actually work? And what are the working conditions really like for the employees who work in the background to ensure that the system runs smoothly? For "follow me.reports", Robin took a look behind the scenes at Amazon and visited a large logistics center. Anyone who presses the "order now" button online sets the work processes in motion in the Amazon logistics center in Frankenthal. 22-year-old Marcella, who works there as a so-called "Amnesty Responder", is also involved in the ordering process. Can't imagine what the term "Amnesty Responder" means? Robin also has to ask first. The special thing about the logistics center in Frankenthal: people and robots work hand in hand here. Hundreds of computer-controlled transport robots move high shelves around in an area the size of 12 football fields - seemingly without a system. But of course nothing is left to chance here. If an error occurs, Marcella is there immediately. She and her colleagues make sure that technical problems are resolved quickly. Robin accompanies Marcella at work for a day and follows the path of an ordered paddling pool from the warehouse to the mail truck. Packing packages on an assembly line and pressure to perform or state-of-the-art technology and fair conditions - what makes working at Amazon so special? Reporter Robin has these and many other questions with him. And when packing packages, he even starts to sweat quite a bit himself: he has to pack a total of 300 items in an hour. Can Robin manage it...? _______________ IN THE VIDEO: Robin (RobBubble) on YouTube: / robbubble Robin (RobBubble) on Instagram: / robbubble Robin's “follow me.reports” playlist can be found here: • follow Robin MUSIC: Die Roboter - Kraftwerk SOS [feat.
